Privacy policy

This policy explains what data the Whoflies service — the Telegram app (@whoflies_bot) and the website whoflies.ru — processes, why, and how you can control it. By using the app or the website you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Whoflies helps parcel senders and travelers find each other. We do not carry parcels and do not take part in payments: users agree directly in Telegram. For any data questions contact support: @ramified.

2. What data we process

In the app (Telegram Mini App):

• the Telegram profile data Telegram passes to the app on launch: ID, first and last name, username, interface language, profile photo;
• your phone number — only if you choose to share your contact;
• listings: route, dates, description and status;
• route subscriptions;
• service records of contacts between users: who contacted the author about which listing, how, and the outcome (no message text — conversations happen in Telegram and are not available to us);
• technical data: login session, app error reports, analytics events (screens opened, actions taken) with an internal user ID.

On whoflies.ru:

• anonymised visit data: pages, referrer, device and browser type, approximate region — via Yandex Metrica (including session replay) and Google Analytics;
• cookies required by these counters.

We do not ask for passport data, addresses or payment details and do not store users’ conversations.

3. Why

• to show listings and connect senders with travelers;
• to send bot notifications about new listings for your subscriptions and important service messages;
• to publish your listings in topical Telegram groups and channels and on whoflies.ru;
• to fight fraud and rule violations (moderation, blocking);
• to fix bugs and improve the service using anonymised statistics.

4. What others see

• App users see your listings and your Telegram profile (name, username, photo) when they want to contact you.
• Telegram groups and channels: listings are posted with the route, dates and description.
• whoflies.ru shows listings without the author’s name, photo, username or phone. Phone numbers, links, @usernames and e-mails are removed from descriptions automatically. The author can be contacted only through the app. Text of unpublished and deleted listings is not shown on the website.

5. Who we share data with

• Telegram — the platform the app runs on and where conversations happen;
• Yandex (Metrica) and Google (Analytics) — anonymised usage statistics;
• public authorities — only where directly required by law.

We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.

6. Storage

Data is stored on secured servers accessible only to the service administrators. Listings and related data are kept while the account exists or until you delete them; on the website listings stop being shown 90 days after their date. Technical logs are kept for a limited time.

7. Your rights

You can:

• unpublish or delete your listings in the app at any time;
• unsubscribe from notifications or block the bot;
• request a copy of your data, its correction or account deletion by writing to support @ramified.

We handle requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies

The app uses a cookie for login (session). The website uses Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics cookies. You can disable them in your browser settings — the website will keep working.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date of the latest version is shown at the top. Significant changes will be announced in @whoflies_official.
